For some reason, I have a genetic disorder that makes me HATE HATE HATE HATE the Muppets.  I hated their show, I hated the films, and I hated their appearances on Sesame Street (always much preferring the animation and filmed segments).  That being said, the ones I kindof liked were the tiny insect family which I think lived in Ernie's flower box, and there was a weird scene where, against a black background, some disembodies heads which looked like tennis balls floated around.  Those were pretty cool.  And I kindof liked the Dark Crystal, if that counts.  Oh and I guess the "yep yep yep uh huh uh huh" aliens were ok.

This has actually been a weird issue my whole life, one of my first inklings of alienation and complete bewilderment at the collective overmind's terrible taste.  Later in life, there seemed to be a huge resurgance in Muppet appreciation amongst my peers, which was doubly confounding.  While respecting Jim Henson's work deeply, the end result just does not fly with me.  I didn't like Meet the Foibles, either, for what thats worth.
