Instead of jogging or even making coffee or reading websites, this morning I made a melvis. Actually it was a repair and modification of an old busted one. Here is the result:

It is a pancake vibrational motor from a cellphone connected to a solar panel and a simple freeformed circuit to modulate the power to the motor. If you are a Tildenite roboticist you will probably realize its just a simple solar engine strapped to dual capacitors and gliding on a heatshrink covered bent-paperclip frame.
